Difrent ran the managed service at Kelway during 2012 and 2014. The team were based onsite and delivered resources across Level 1-3 Engineers, Project Managers and Solution Architects within a 24hour SLA across the UK and Europe. During a 24 month period Difrent supplied over 60 heads to support end-to-end delivery for Kelway and their client base. The team worked tirelessly to support delivery, often round the clock and into the weekend. They were entirely delivery focused, highly recommended.
Difrent helped us understand our IT and Digital estate better, undertook a review of our people, processes and technology and then delivered an aggressive improvement programme; stabilising our core infrastructure and enabling readiness for our business transformation programme.
During their tenure, Difrent transformed the IT and Digital team to permanent heads rather than interims (70/30), moved our infrastructure out to the cloud achieving substantial financial savings and successfully implemented Agile throughout the business ensuring initiatives like Revalidation could achieve the results they needed to externally as the ways of working had transformed internally.
Difrent have provided NHS Digital with Director-level resources to lead the patient facing Digital transformation programme since July 2016. Over the past two years, this team has flexed up and down to deliver outcome-based resource delivering a programme spanning Health Apps & Wearables, WIFI, Digital Identity, NHS Online, the transformation from NHS Choices to NHS.UK and award-winning widening digital participation. Difrent has a unique ability to deliver strategic resource to lead and drive outcomes and the digital skills to make these products and services a reality.
Difrent are both brilliant at their job and a pleasure to work with. They are very driven to succeed and are great team players. As well as a strong technical understanding, they think outside to box to find solutions to the most complex challenges. They have high emotional intelligence and are not afraid to tackle problems as they arise. Working with Difrent will never be dull and will always lead to things moving forward. Difrent initiated a technology transformation programme for The National Archives. From the outset, they injected energy and enthusiasm into the technology and digital teams during a time of significant change.
Difrent’s 'brief' was simply to provide clarity (of what we had/what we needed) and a plan to take us there. They delivered on both counts, positioning us for the future and laying the foundations for the next 12-18 months, while also implementing a number of quick wins and culture change within the team(s).
Rachel and the Difrent team did a great job of getting us to quickly understand the principles of Wardley Mapping, introducing the techniques in a fun and accessible way for business stakeholders.
