What’s your background?
I have a very creative background with an array of creative qualifications, with my highest level of qualification being a BA Honor's in "3D Animation and Games design". Soon after graduating I applied to join an academy that had absolutely nothing to do with my degree, but I liked the prospects! I initially trained up as a QA Test Analyst and quite soon after I was nominated and shortlisted to the top 5 at the European Software Testing Awards! However by the time the awards ceremony took place, I had transitioned into a Business Analyst, which is the role I love! Maybe I can claim the top spot in this field next time ;)
Describe your role at Difrent
I am a Business Analyst here at Difrent with responsibilities such as; Identifying and building relationships with stakeholders, requirements elicitation, identifying business risks, developing customer journey maps, translating technical issues..... all the typical BA stuff with the exception that, I am happy to go above an beyond what is required of me!
Who are you outside of Difrent?
I am super social and love to be out on the move, doing things. It's so cliché to say, but my favourite thing to do is travel!! I grew up on a council estate in Hackney and had never been on a plane in my life until I was 19. I took my girlfriend to Ibiza for my first ever holiday, but that's before I knew Ibiza was Ibiza if you know what I mean. I have been on many holidays since then and now all I do is think and plan where I am going to go next... next is either Norway to stay in a wooden cabin in the middle of nowhere or the Philippines to go and explore all the beautiful little islands (I have a boat license!!).
Who would you invite to dinner, dead or alive?
This would be a proper random dinner! It would have to be Tupac so that I could witness a live performance, Paul Walker so that I can have a genuine conversation with him, David Attenborough so that I can thank him for all the incredible work he has done, Steve Jobs so that I can tap into his knowledge and finally Stephen Hawking so that I can ask him if he was right about his prediction that there is no God! (He said this in his final book)
