I've always had a thing for interacting with people, an inquisitive mind with an eagerness to know 'why?' As well as 'how?'more

What’s your background?
I am a country boy raised in the small village of Abberley (which is around 40 minutes from anything even remotely interesting). I was eager to break out of Worcestershire and find something a bit more interesting. After enjoying 4 years of studying (and drinking) at DMU in Leicester I left with a 2:1 in Business Entrepreneurship and Innovation. Hungry for more I moved to London where I enjoyed a year in recruitment, before joining Difrent.
Describe your role at Difrent
My role at Difrent is to bring on the best talent to work with our growing teams, and amazing company. I love talking to new people and finding out about what they really enjoy doing and helping them develop their career with us at Difrent.
Who are you outside of Difrent?
Outside of Difrent I am a very active person, I go to the gym most days which seems to go hand in hand with my other passion of eating. I love food and trying new foods (even though I’m normally just eating chicken and rice), my favorite food would probably be either Lasagne or Sushi, I really couldn’t choose between them. Other than that, I’m a big Liverpool fan (6 times!) having followed them all my life and I also follow Worcester Warriors in rugby.
Who would you invite to dinner, dead or alive?
Who would I invite to dinner, honestly I wouldn’t be able to pick just one person. One person I would want to invite would definitely be Steven Gerrard, I remember pretending to be Gerrard while I was kicking a ball up and down the street as a kid. So, he would definitely get an invite to my dinner party.
Second would have to be Ronnie Coleman, as a massive bodybuilding fan, Ronnie Coleman will go down as one of the all time greats in the sport. I’d love to learn more about his time in bodybuilding as well as entrepreneurial capabilities to build his company after leaving the sport.
Concluding my top 3, I’d have to invite Matt Groening. I love the Simpsons and I would have so many questions to ask about that and his other shows.
