Nouman Wraich

Nouman Wraich, Project Support Officer
Project Management | Project Support | Delivery

What’s your background?
I graduated from London Southbank University in 2013 in a Business Administration. After completing my undergraduate degree, I decided to go into the family business and joined my Dad in running Dixy Fried Chicken. Working there for a few years, I decided to move on and work in the professional world and was offered an opportunity to work for a Real Estate company as a Sales Negotiator.

I, ultimately, wanted something else, I was then recruiting Project Managers in the IT industry and talking to them on daily basis I got interested in the work they do and wanted to pursue my career in this field.

I started taking Project Manager-related qualifications and then landed my first PM-related role as a Project Support Officer for a telecommunication company. Being there for one year and then being let go due to Covid and contract coming to end, I am now embarking a new role in my career at Difrent also as PSO.

Describe your role at Difrent.
Over at Difrent, my role is a Project Support Officer, my primary role is to support the seniors e.g, Project Managers and Delivery Managers on the projects, help them where I possibly can and give as much input as possible.

Who are you outside of Difrent?
Outside of Difrent, I am a simple person. I like to spend time with my friends/family, socialise by going for dinner/drinks. I like to play sports e,g. Cricket, gym, snooker, swimming, Boxing.

Who would you invite to dinner, dead or alive?
Muhammad Ali because he is my role model. An inspirational person with what he achieved and I look up to him.
