Director, Delivery, Talking, Leading, People
What’s your background?
I spent 15 years in the public sector and 8 years within Digital, focusing on Product delivery and developing digital capability. I’m passionate about making a difference to peoples lives, solving real problems that matter and making things better.
I started out in the Ministry of Defence, before moving over to the Department of Health and eventually Department for Works and Pensions for 8 years. I worked with the Government Digital Service at the beginning of the digital government movement, and I’ve also worked for the Care Quality Commission.
Describe your role at Difrent
As the Delivery Director for Difrent, I’m here to make sure we deliver the right things in the right way for our clients, and for users. The strategy is delivery after all.
Who are you outside of Difrent?
Outside of work I’m a massive geek, I like tabletop games, RPG’s and LARP. I have a 9 year old child, an 9 month old puppy and a partner who doesn’t want her age online.
Who would you invite to dinner, dead or alive?
If I was throwing a dinner party I’d invite Anne Boleyn, Helen Mirren and Ada Lovelace. Anne Boleyn because I’d love to hear her side of the story; Helen Mirren because she’s just cool and I'd love to chat to her, and Ada Lovelace because I want to hear all about her life and her views on STEM and how the arts can play an integral part in the creation of science and technology.
